What Is The Meaning Of Credible Data?
As per IGI Global, Digital Credibility means, “An aspect of data quality: a level of certitude that the data content corresponds to a real object or has been obtained using a proper acquisition method.”

And Malcolm Chisholm explains it in his article on Information Management.
He says that data credibility is the extent to which the good faith of a data or source provider can be relied upon to ensure that the data represents what the data is supposed to represent and that there is no intent to misrepresent what the information is supposed to represent.
In plain and simple words, the data credibility means that data is credible as long as it has been retrieved from a legitimate source when you are making a point and taken out from thin air.
People respect premises based on substantial evidence or study, so while doing anything, it is of the essence to support it with valid findings.
